1. About us
These terms apply when you book or use the studio. Sessions are provided by Hampshire Podcast Studios (T/A name of STRAW HAT SOCIAL LTD, Reg. No. 14908060), Network Eagle Lab, Portland Terrace, Southampton, SO14 7JS. Contact us at hello@hampshirepodcaststudios.com or 023 8225 6701.
2. Booking and confirmation
A request made through this website holds your chosen time while we check it. Your booking is only confirmed once we email you a confirmation. If we can't accommodate the session, we'll tell you and release the slot.
Sessions run Monday to Thursday between 09:00 and 18:00. Standard sessions are 90 minutes, with a changeover gap before the next booking. Please arrive on time — sessions cannot overrun into the following slot.
3. Guests and use of the studio
The studio takes up to 4 guests in addition to yourself. You're responsible for your guests' conduct, for their safety instructions being followed, and for any damage caused to the space or equipment during your session. Equipment is operated by our team unless we agree otherwise.
4. Content policy
We do not host the recording of highly political or religious content, or anything unlawful, hateful, defamatory or discriminatory. Tell us the subject of your content when booking. If content presented on the day falls outside this policy, we may end the session, and the fee remains payable.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on our website and are payable in the studio by card, or by invoice where we've agreed that in advance. No deposit is taken through this website.
6. Changes and cancellations
To move or cancel a session, please give us at least 48 hours' notice by email or phone, and we'll rearrange where we can. Cancellations inside 48 hours, or a no-show, may be charged in full. If we ever have to cancel or move your session, we'll offer you the next suitable slot or a full refund of anything you've paid.
7. Your recordings and files
You own the content you record. We hand over your files after the session and hold working copies only briefly so we can deliver them or complete any editing you've asked for. We may ask separately for permission to show clips of your session in our own marketing — never without your agreement.
8. Liability
We take care to deliver a good session and to keep our equipment in working order. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability in relation to a booking is limited to the fee paid for that session, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profit or lost audience.
Please back up your files after we deliver them. We can't be held responsible for material lost after handover.

We handle your details as set out in our privacy notice.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
